March 14		Release of Duel Decks: Jace vs. Vraska.
May 2		Release of Journey into Nyx.
May 16-18		Pro Tour Journey into Nyx at Atalanta, Georgia, USA. Won by Template:Flagicon USA Patrick Chapin.
May 30		Release of the Modern Event Deck March of the Multitudes. Non set-specific, containing rare, high-powered cards for Modern rather than for Standard.
June 6		Release of Conspiracy. First-ever multiplayer-focused Magic booster set.
June 16		Release of Vintage Masters. Magic Online-only reprint set.
July 18		Release of Magic 2015. Spotlightning Garruk Wildspeaker. Default change from 60 to 80 uncommons for large sets to facilitate limited play. Featuring the "You Make the Card"-card Waste Not. Featuring designs by multiple game world VIPs. Their designer credits appear below the flavor text, in smaller type. Introducing a new card face with a special Magic font ("Beleren"), a holofoil stamp, revamped collector info and a decreased border size. Introducing the term "base power and toughness. Introducing Clash packs.
July 24-27		San Diego Comic-Con. Release of a limited edition of "black-on-black" Planeswalker cards.
August 1-3		Pro Tour Magic 2015 in Portland, Oregon, USA. Won by Template:Flagicon SLV Ivan Floch.
August 9		Start of the 2014–15 Pro Tour Season. Grand Prix Events in Portland, USA and Utrecht, The Netherlands.
August 22		Release of From the Vault: Annihilation.
August 25		Announcement of the Two-Block Paradigm. Two blocks each year. Blocks will no longer have a third set. Abolishment of Core Sets.
September 5		Release of Duel Decks: Speed vs. Cunning.
September 26		Release of Khans of Tarkir. Focused on Wedge colors (Abzan, Jeskai, Sultai]], Mardu and Temur). Return of morph.
October 10-12		Pro Tour Khans of Tarkir at Hololulu, Hawaii, USA. Won by Template:Flagicon USA Ari Lax.
November 7		Release of Commander 2014. Featuring five planeswalkers that can be used as a commander. Featuring legendary creatures from Magic's past which didn't have a card before . Introducing double-faced tokens.
November 14		Release of the 2014 Holiday Gift Box.
December 2-7		2014 World Championship in Nice, France. Won by Template:Flagicon ISR Shahar Shenhar.
December 5		Release of Duel Decks Anthology A compilation collector's set that combines the first four Duel Decks all in post Magic 2015 card frames.
December 5-7		2014 World Magic Cup in Nice, France. Won by Template:Flagicon DNK Denmark.
