Amaka is a Prismari student on Arcavios.
Description[ | ]
Amaka was a close friend of Zimone Wola and Nnanyielugo, showing camaraderie and enthusiasm for their friendship and ensuring they could all sit together at the café. Amaka enjoys playful banter and teasing with the other two. Amaka is also quick to notice changes in a conversation's mood and can change the topic when necessary, indicating awareness of friends' feelings. Amaka also shows concern for the future and eventually feels distrust in the relationship with Zimone after her alleged affiliation with the Oriq, which shows a higher loyalty to Strixhaven's principles than to the friendship with Zimone.
History[ | ]
Amaka arrived at the Firejolt Café with Nnanyielugo, greeting Zimone warmly, and settled into the conversation about their recent exams and college choices. Amaka mentioned the magical showoff by the deans, which Zimone missed, and started to discuss how it might have influenced their college decisions.
Amaka and Nnanyielugo prepared to leave for the Mage Tower game, urging Zimone to hurry so they could get good seats. Later, Amaka, Nnanyielugo, and Zimone bumped into each other, discussed their busy schedules and new colleges, and expressed excitement about catching up and maintaining their friendship despite their different paths.
Amaka's interactions and dialogues emphasize the bond between the friends and their shared experiences at Strixhaven, even as they move into different colleges. Amaka chose to become a student at Prismari College, electing to go a different path and following other interests than Zimone and Nnanyielugo, who chose Quandrix and Silverquill, respectively.
After the Mage Tower game, Amaka's relationship with Zimone changed due to a rumor circulating that Zimone might have joined the Oriq, a group opposed to Strixhaven. Dean Kianne and Dean Imbraham interrogated Zimone about her encounter with the Oriq leader, Extus Narr, but despite Zimone's innocence, the rumor affected her friendships. As a result, Amaka and Nnanyielugo began avoiding Zimone when they saw her at the Biblioplex.[1]
