Andrios, Roaming Explorer, is an artifact creature wizard from an unknown plane.
Background[ | ]
The character of Andrios was created by Wizards of the Coast for a celebration card as part of the 2021 Heroes of the Realm program.[1][2] It appears to be a humanoid golem made of rocks with blue glowing energy in the cracks between them. It can scan objects with its face and project an image of them from its hand.

- Andrios was created as a reward for the Magic: The Gathering Arena mobile team.[1]
- Andrios 4/3 to 16/9 ability is a reference to screen aspect ratios. The old norm for standard TV and computer ratios was 4:3 whereas Arena on mobile is played sideways in widescreen mode which is 16:9.[2]
