Art counter are a type of counter introduced on a Test card at the 2024 Unknown Event at Magiccon Amsterdam.
Description[ | ]
Art counters first appeared on the Famous Museum test card as part of an Unknown Event. One of the counters is added to it each time a creature the player controls dies. Then as part of an activated ability, it can create a colorless mana plus additional ones for each art counter.[1]
Trivia[ | ]
- The museum creating art counters is a reference to Amsterdam’s Museumkwartier (Museum Quarter), a neighborhood of the city that houses the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum.[2]
