Arthur is a legendary mousefolk from Bloomburrow and Marigold Knight.
Description[ | ]
Arthur stands tall, or as tall as a mousefolk can, adorned in armor that gleams like the morning sun reflecting off dewdrops. His finely crafted helmet hangs from the pommel of his saddle and his armor is intricately detailed with motifs of marigold flowers.
His fur is a soft, tawny brown, and his eyes sparkle with a mixture of warmth and determination. Arthur's cape, a vibrant red, billows behind him as he moves with the swiftness and agility that only a mousefolk can possess. He wields a lance, in truth a pair of wooden spikes strapped together and tipped with sharp metal, and his steed is a construct made from wicker bark, feathers, thistle, and twine.[1][2]
History[ | ]
Many songs have been written of Arthur's deeds, some sung by Zinnia themself.[2] Who could forget the crossing of the Calamity Graveyard with a Sunspine Lynx at his tail and how he escaped with nary a singed whisker? Or when he battled back a group of nefarious necromancers who had set their sights on resurrecting the bones of a Rottenmouth Viper? Or when he gave Mabel herself, the savior of Valley, a sword lesson? Now, no one other than Arthur had seen those deeds, and Mabel seemed quite amused when asked to confirm their meeting, but the people of Valley have no need to doubt the heroic acts of Arthur upon his noble wicker steed.
