Assad was a Fallaji soldier who fought on the side of Mishra in the Brothers' War.

Description[ | ]

Assad was a fifteen-year-old replacement soldier, newly arrived at the Argivian Front. He was part of a group of young recruits marked by rose silk ribbons tied to their spears, a symbol of their regiment. Assad stood out as confident and eager, despite his inexperience, wearing a soft field cap and a simple cloak. He displayed a bold and hopeful attitude, contrasting with the war-weary veterans like Farid and Karrak.[1]

History[ | ]

Assad participated in the Tomakul Campaign. He had never experienced combat before joining the front. He hailed from a background distinct from the city-dwellers like Farid, as he and his companions came from the desert tribes. Upon his arrival, Assad exhibited enthusiasm and a naive eagerness to prove himself, questioning veterans about their experiences and the enemy's machines. He was vocal about his desire to attack the Argivians and saw the war as an opportunity to gain glory and honor. Despite his bravado, Assad's inexperience was evident in his lack of understanding of the harsh realities of trench warfare. He dismissed the veterans' cautious approach and voiced his confidence in the strength and purpose of their forces. However, he was not considered trustworthy by the experienced soldiers when they planned a covert escape, as they viewed him as too naive and impulsive.[1]
