fulloracle:"attacks? alone" |
Attacking alone, as a concept, was first introduced with Errantry (Ice Age). It was "keyworded" as a term in Shards of Alara to provide a clearly defined trigger for the Exalted mechanic.
The mechanic outside of Exalted is often used as downside for creatures that can either only attack alone or cannot attack alone. Its opposite is much rarer, entirely downside-based, and only one has "can't block alone" (Craven Hulk) - the other six cannot do either combat action alone.
Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty uses attacking alone for Exalted-like triggers are mechanic for Samurai.
