Ayari, alongside the hired warrior Chishiro, worked to protect the residents of Far Corner from the Mukotai Reckoners, a violent gang seeking revenge for a scout's mysterious death. As the Mukotai approached to destroy the neighborhood, Ayari displayed courage and loyalty, particularly when she attempted to save Jenzo, a wounded local, during a chaotic confrontation. Despite her efforts, the situation deteriorated as Chishiro became consumed by a personal vendetta against Tatsunari, the gang leader. The battle culminated in chaos as the Go-Shintai of Boundless Vigor shrine's kami, Kaima, awoke with destructive fury, threatening to kill everyone, including the townspeople who worshipped it. As Kaima's wrath was unleashed, Ayari helped coordinate the evacuation, striving to save as many lives as possible amidst the devastation.[1]
