The Battle at Mors Ridge was an event during the Time of Legends, on the continent of Corondor.

History[ | ]

Ham, the Tickery Man was a member of the High Council of Mors Ridge who was in charge of casting the "tickery" spell, making sure the slumbering Elder Dragon Palladia-Mors remained in stasis beneath Mors Ridge, keeping her from attacking humans. However, Palladia's cousin Vaevictis Asmadi managed to wake her up to lift the curse that had turned him into a Dragon Whelp. Palladia undid the spell. and together with an army, they went on the rampage. The Tickery Man Ham then revealed himself to be Palladia's brother, Chromium Rhuell, and was able to convince Vaevictis to turn on Palladia. However, Palladia was ready for this, reversing one of Vaevictis' spells, and he disappeared from the battle, never to be seen again. Finally, Chromium and Red Donald's daughter Ad'Amra, a human warrior spellcaster who had fallen in love with "Ham", managed to put the sleep-spell back on Palladia.[1]

Timing[ | ]

Although there is great uncertainty about when this event took place, it is explicitly stated as happening before the Brothers' War, which started in 28 AR. Additionally, it must have happened after the Blackblade–Dihada War, as Chromium Rhuell is mourning the death of Piru, which happened then. This puts the event at most some centuries (-1300 AR) before the start of the Brothers' War.[1][2]
