Carlos Eduardo Romão is a Brazilian professional Magic player and former World Champion.
Professional play[ | ]
He became the first South American to win a Pro Tour by winning the 2002 World Championships. In 2010, he won the Magic Online World Championships (currently known as the Magic Online Championship), making him the only player to have won both events. After a four-year absence from the professional scene, he returned in 2016 to win two Grand Prix events and finish second at Pro Tour Kaladesh. In 2018, he placed third at Pro Tour 25th Anniversary with teammates Marcio Carvalho and Thiago Saporito, and in December 2018, it was announced that Romão would be one of the 32 players joining the upcoming 2019 Magic Pro League. Finishing in the Top 20, he could continue in the 2020 Season.
