The Cauldron is the former seat of power for the Izzet League in Utvara.[1]
For many years the Cauldron was under the guidance of Zomaj Hauc until he attempted to incubate three dragon eggs in an effort to overthrow Niv-Mizzet and wreak havoc over all of Ravnica. It was destroyed in the following conflict, and Niv-Mizzet ordered it to be removed.[2]
