Cobbler is a test card-only creature class used to represent those who mend or make shoes and often other leather goods. Cobbler also might refer to a clumsy workman, who roughly or hastily cobbles something together.
History[ | ]
In 2024, Cobbler was mentioned as a creature type on the Mystery Booster 2 test card Abbot of the Sacred Meeple. As part of the deliberately confusing rules of that card, it was juxtaposed with Shoemaker, which is essentially the same craft.
Trivia[ | ]
- Ardoz, Cobbler of War and Reezug, the Bonecobbler are eternal cards that perhaps would be fitting to have the subtype. However, they use the term "cobbler" only in the second sense.
