Cow is a seldom used acorn and test card creature type for cards which depict a type of large, domestic bovine.
History[ | ]
Cow debuted as a creature type in Unglued and has yet to reappear in any other un-set. It later re-appeared on the Dairy Cow test card in Mystery Booster 2.
Black-bordered cards tend to use the Ox creature type for non-humanoid bovines and Minotaur for humanoid bovines. Bartered Cows are traded on Eldraine while Holy Cows have been seen on Thunder Junction.
Trivia[ | ]
- Hungry Hungry Heifer is a reference to Hungry Hungry Hippos and also later inspired the black-bordered Chisei, Heart of Oceans.
