Doco, Killian Lu's inkling, is an empathetic and supportive creature formed from black ink. He has onyx skin that swims with text from books he inhabits. Doco shows unwavering loyalty and ability to help Killian in various ways.
Doco emerged from the book Quintorius Kand gave Killian and offered an empathetic simper to lift Killian's spirits when he was feeling down. Doco turned to a page in the book with hand signals and words of affirmation, helping Killian focus his intention and create light, demonstrating Doco's role in guiding Killian towards positive action.
When Killian contemplated joining Fannessa Fjyorne and the Oriq, Doco intervened by writing "We don't destroy. We create" in the air, helping Killian to reject the dark path. During the final battle, Doco transformed into various shapes and symbols to aid Killian in his spellcasting. His actions helped Killian to effectively counter the mage hunters, blind them, and ultimately lead to their defeat.
