Donald Smith, Jr. (Cut Off, LA, 1995) is an American former professional player of Magic: the Gathering. In late 2017, he joined Wizards of the Coast R&D as part of the Play Design team.[1][2] He left the company in November 2023.[3]

Donald started playing when Theros was released. In just a little over four years, he grinded his way to qualifying for the Pro Tour. Donald continued playtesting and dedicated himself to stay on the Pro Tour, and obtained a breakout performance at Pro Tour Aether Revolt.[4] He managed to convert that into Platinum status and later on an invite to the 2017 World Championship.
