Enthril is a Prodigal Sorcerer on Dominaria, who ended up working as a ship's mage.[1]

History[ | ]

Despite graduating with honors from the academy at Tolaria West, Enthril ended up working as a ship's mage. On a journey headed to the Spice Isles, they took on the young wizard Kellan Boldt, who was headed to the same academy to learn applied magics. However, their ship was assailed by pirates during the voyage. In the end, Enthril and Kellan managed to keep the pursuing pirates at bay long enough for the remnants of their ship to cross the Perimeter of the Dire Waves, a deadly storm-tossed area of the sea. This caused the pirates to abandon their chase.

Soon after, two sorcerers were attacked by a giant kraken, a Scourge of Fleets, which smashed the remains of their ship. A badly wounded Enthril cast a chaotic Eternal Domonion spell that warped the sails and broken wood of their ship into a hot-air balloon. This enabled Kellan alone to float away from the monster, while Enthril the ship-mage disappeared completely. It is unknown if he survived his spell or not.
