Explorer Anthology is a series of releases exclusive to Magic Arena. Cards released via an Explorer Anthology become legal in the Explorer format as well as the Historic format. Each release is available to purchase as a whole in the Arena store for a limited time, after which the cards are only available through crafting wildcards.

The first Explorer Anthology (set code: EA1) was released on July 28, 2022, and added 20 Explorer-legal cards to MTG Arena, from iconic powerhouses to offbeat favorites.[2][3][4]

Explorer Anthology 2 (set code: EA2) was released on December 13, 2022.[5][6] In addition to the 24 cards in this anthology, Wastes became available as a basic land to all players.[7]
