Feather counters are a type of counter introduced in Invasion. They tend to grant bonuses or effects relating to birds.

Description[ | ]

Feather counters first appeared on Kangee, Aerie Keeper in Invasion. It enters the battlefield with Feather counters on it if it was kicked. The counters grant +1/+1 to all birds on the battlefield. The counters appeared once again with the same effect in Judgment on Soulcatchers' Aerie which was an enchantment that gained a counter for every bird that is put into the player's graveyard.

In Alara Reborn, Feather counters returned with a different effect for Aven Mimeomancer. It would put a Feather counter on a creature each turn which gave the creature aspects of itself making it have a 3/1 base power and toughness and flying.
