Race Faerie
Birthplace The Wilds, Eldraine
Lifetime Mending Era

Fifer is a faerie from Eldraine.

Description[ | ]

Fifer is impish and imaginative with a knack for theatrics. His playful nature is evident in his choice of attire — a dead rabbit worn as a hat for dramatic effect. Fifer relishes in mischief and is often the ringleader when it comes to elaborate pranks, like the one played on Rankle. Although his antics are lighthearted, Fifer also possesses a strong sense of justice, especially when it comes to dealing with those who bully or torment others. He is loyal to his friends and isn't afraid to speak up when someone crosses the line, even if it means standing against someone like Rankle.[1]

History[ | ]

During New Phyrexia's Invasion of Eldraine, Fifer enthusiastically participated in the prank against Rankle, proclaiming Rankle's approach to the throne with mock formality. He helped orchestrate the trap, laughing heartily when Rankle was caught. When Rankle demanded to know why they had tricked him, Fifer openly expressed his dislike for Rankle's cruelty, specifically mentioning how Rankle had sewn his mouth shut. During the ensuing scuffle, Fifer joined in to help subdue Rankle, ultimately telling him to leave the glade for good.[1]
