Hapatra, a.k.a. Rhonas's broken fang, was the vizier of the god Rhonas on Amonkhet.

History[ | ]

Chandra and Nissa encountered Hapatra when they first traveled to Amonkhet.[1][2] She wears a stern face and walks with her chin high and shoulders back.

Hapatra is skilled in the creation of poisons, and has pet snakes and an odd sense of humor. After her God's death, she took leadership over the refugees from Naktamun. She had knowledge of ways to stop the Eternals.[3]

Trivia[ | ]

  • Nissa was reminded of Lavinia from Ravnica when she first met Hapatra.
  • Her name and association with snakes are references to the most well-known queen of Egypt, Cleopatra. Thanks to Universes Beyond, she would herself become a card (Cleopatra, Exiled Pharaoh).
