Haqikah, nicknamed Haq, was a human from Naktamun on the plane of Amonkhet.
Description[ | ]
Haq was a young vizier of Hazoret, around fourteen years of age, wearing the robes and symbols associated with his station. Haq spoke with a calmness and eloquence that belied his youth. Despite his young age, he showed determination in tracking Hazoret and helping other survivors. As a vizier of Hazoret, his heart beat in unison with his god, showing a deep sense of loyalty and devotion. Haq hid from the mummies in a storehouse, showing resourcefulness and courage in the face of danger.
History[ | ]
After leaving a group of interlopers to plan their battle with Nicol Bolas, Samut, Djeru, and their small band of survivors encountered Haq, who joined them. He had witnessed the battle between Bontu and Hazoret, informing them of Bontu's betrayal and the God-Pharaoh's cruelty. Haq guided the group through the quiet, dangerous streets of Naktamun, leading them past the fallen god Rhonas, where they mourned and then resolved to fight.[1]
As a sandstorm approached, Hazoret appeared, injured and pursued by the Scorpion God. Despite her wounds, she fought with determination. Haq, noting her spell-casting, helped the group understand her actions. The survivors, including Samut and Djeru, battled the weakened Scorpion God, pushing it towards a trap. Hazoret delivered the final blow, reducing the god to ash.[1]
After the battle, Hazoret acknowledged the bravery of her followers. Samut experienced a planeswalk, returning with new abilities, much to the surprise of the group. With the threat of Nicol Bolas looming, Hazoret and the survivors prepared to endure, determined to protect one another and persist through the coming challenges.[1]
Haq met his demise in the desert, as he was seen as part of the Dreadhorde on Ravnica, where he was re-killed by Samut.[2]
