Hawk is a test card creature type for a race of birds of prey with hooked beaks and sharp talons that are smaller than most eagles. Hawks in eternal legal cards normally fall under the Bird creature type.
History[]
Hawk debuted as a creature type in the 2024 Las Vegas Unknown Event on The Cobra King which is a Snake Hawk Warrior. It is a reference to Hawk, a character played by Jacob Bertrand in the spinoff series Cobra Kai from The Karate Kid franchise. The Cobra Kai karate dojo motto is "Strike first, strike hard, no mercy". Bertrand has joined Game Knights games multiple times, once live, the first time using a Koma, Cosmos Serpent, where the color and upkeep ability come from.
