Healing counters are a type of counter introduced in Ice Age. They have been associated with a Fylgja and have been used to prevent damage from being dealt to a creature.
Description[]
Healing counters first appeared on Fylgja in Ice Age. It is an Aura enchantment that can be placed on a creature. It enters into play with 4 healing counters though more can be added via an activated ability. It then has another ability to prevent 1 damage to the enchanted creature in exchange for a healing counter.
The counters appeared once again in Coldsnap on Ursine Fylgja which is a creature that also comes into play with 4 of the counters on it with its activated ability to add more. It then has a similar ability to remove a counter to prevent the next 1 damage that would be dealt to the creature during the turn.

- In Magic Online, the counter is colored green as its considered a positive effect and shares its icon with Divinity, Devotion, Dream, Elixir, Fate, Hunger, Intervention, Omen, Unity, Valor and Wish counters.[1]
