Jaeger Ojanen was a tiger warrior and explorer from Efrava on Dominaria.
Description[]
Jaeger has orange-gold tiger-patterned hide and a great swath of snow-white chest. The furred tiger's face was a riot of black and gold stripes with two amber eyes, like the sun on a summer sea. His face had very little human about it, except the muzzle was perhaps shorter than a tiger's and the tufted ears small. White muttonchops laid flat against Jaeger's cheeks, and a shock of mane stuck back stiffly as if pomaded. Altogether the face was a riot of orange, white, and black stripes, but his bristles were frosted white with age. The teeth too, though sharp and formidable, were worn thin, and whiskers were as thick as sea grass on the hills. He was heavy as a horse and nearly seven feet tall. His elongated fingers and toes were half the length of a man's and ended in claws as thick and black as shards of flint. He wore a simple bark harness decorated with a curious bronze buckle and a breechcloth of goatskin painted with a rude pattern of green and black triangles. He carried only gourds for water and a long knife of bronze.[1]
History[]
Jaeger was quite adventurous (similar to his son, Jedit Ojanen), and instead of staying in Efrava, he traveled the world. This eventually led him to contact with the wizard Johan, who became responsible for Jaeger's death. Years later, this chain of events caused Jaeger's son to seek answers, and eventually, vengeance.
