Jody Carpenter is a human from an unknown plane who has ended up on Thunder Junction.

Description[ | ]

Jody Carpenter is a handsome, middle-aged man with silver curls, dark green eyes, full lips, and a stubbled face. He carries an air of calm confidence and resilience, likely shaped by the loss of his great love, who died a painful death a year ago. Despite his tragic past, Jody is pragmatic, preferring to live in the moment without getting attached. He is witty, unbothered by the harshness of life, and has a playful sense of humor, which he displays in his interactions with Annie Flash.[1]

History[ | ]

At some point in his life, Jody married a woman on their home plane, and later became a widower. In the aftermath of his wife's death, Jody traveled from his home plane to Thunder Junction. A year later, he met Annie Flash and they had a one-night-stand. Although he seemed to care for her, he respected her boundaries and didn't push for more than what she wanted to offer. Jody lightly teased Annie, showing an interest in her well-being and trying to coax her into staying longer with him, but he remained laid-back when she insisted on leaving.[1]

The next day, he encountered Annie again in Saddlebrush’s main square, where he jokingly remarked on her smile, revealing his observant nature. Jody denied leaving a mysterious basket on her doorstep, further deepening the mystery surrounding it. Despite not being involved in the hunt for the rattlewurm, Jody showed up the next day to see Annie and the others off, displaying his support and concern in his relaxed way. He engaged in playful banter with Annie, suggesting he valued their connection while still maintaining his independence.[1]
