As a young skyhunter she had led hundreds of leonin to safety during Memnarch's ascendancy.[1] When the elder generation of Mirrans disappeared, Kemba was chosen as the leonin's new leader. She refused to take the title kha, preferring to be known as "Regent," the surrogate leader in Raksha's absence. She oversaw the reconstruction of Taj-Nar, helping to restore the morale and dignity of the leonin.
