Kenneth "Ken" Nagle is a former full-time designer and developer at Wizards of the Coast.[1]

Career[ | ]

Mark Rosewater drafted Ken to be on the Morningtide design team. He was first hired in January 2007 as an intern by performing well on "The Great Designer Search".[2] Ken comes from Huntsville, Alabama, and was a system software engineer before he came to Wizards.

Until August 2012, he worked as Game Designer. He contributed to multiple Magic expansions, but also to Duels of the Planeswalkers, Duel Masters and Kaijudo.[3] Afterwards he became senior game developer, working on things like SpellTable.[4] In August 2021, Nagle became Senior Game Developer: Machine Learning. In February 2023, he left the company.

Evan Erwin ended each episode of The Magic Show with a quote by Ken, "I always liked the fatties."
