Kentaro is a legendary warrior known for slaying ochimusha and others he felt dishonorable or unworthy of life. It is said he has never been defeated in combat against man, beast, or kami. Known as "the slayer of the dishonored", Kentaro was a legendary samurai, feared and respected for his unmatched combat skills and unwavering sense of justice. He was a man of profound wisdom, with a deep understanding of honor and redemption. His eyes, sharp and intense, spoke of countless battles, and his cat-like smile masked the depths of his strategic mind. Clad in black and crimson do-maru, unblemished by the swamp's decay, Kentaro moved with a fluid grace that belied his lethal prowess. He was a leader who inspired loyalty, offering lost souls a chance to reclaim their honor.

Kentaro first appeared to Toshusai after aiding him in battle, revealing his identity and challenging him in a test of honor. Instead of killing Toshusai, he presented him with an opportunity for redemption. Through a series of grueling trials, Kentaro forced Toshusai to confront the truth of his dishonor and helped him remember that his honor had never truly been lost. After Toshusai passed the test, Kentaro welcomed him into his group of redeemed warriors. Together, they set out to defeat a powerful oni and restore an ancient shrine, with Kentaro leading them with calm confidence into the heart of darkness.[2][1]
