Description[ | ]
Kit was the wolf companion of Lyana. At the time of encountering Lathril, he was a smaller and younger wolf compared to his sister Lukya. His appearance is described as golden in the moonlight, a lighter and warmer hue compared to Lukya's striking copper tones. This golden coloration reflected his youthfulness and innocence, contrasting with the more mature and regal presence of Lukya.
Physically, Kit is agile and quick, embodying the spirited and playful nature typical of young wolves. His movements are likely to be more energetic and less deliberate compared to Lukya, indicating a sense of curiosity and a readiness for exploration.
Kit was loyal and protective towards Lyana. He displayed a deep bond with her, serving as both a companion and a source of comfort. Despite his youth, Kit showed bravery in defending Lyana when she was in danger, showcasing a sense of duty that aligned with his role as her protector.[1]
As a child of the immortal Cosmos Beast Sarulf, Kit may also be immortal or very long-lived.
History[ | ]
Kit's role in the story of Lathril revolved around his abduction by hostile forces, leading to a moment where his companion Lyana was separated from him under distressing circumstances. During a walk in the woods, they encountered draugr, malevolent creatures that posed a threat to both Lyana and Kit. In a cruel act, one of the draugr seized Kit and carried him off, leaving Lyana devastated and vulnerable.[1]
This event catalyzed Lathril's involvement, as she and her companion, Kit's sister Lukya stepped in to rescue Lyana and recover Kit from the draugrs' clutches. The abduction of Kit heightened the tension and urgency, driving Lathril's quest to confront the threats posed by the draugr and ensure Lyana's safety. His eventual reunion with Lyana brought a sense of relief and joy, highlighting the importance of their bond amidst the challenges they face in the fantastical realms of Kaldheim. As a reward for Kit's rescue, Sarulf granted Lathril a bond between her people the elves of Skemfar, and all wolves of Kaldheim. [1]
