Description[]
Laria was an Argivian soldier who possessed both sternness and warmth. With weathered features indicative of a life spent on the front lines, she had a strong, commanding presence. Her face, marked by laugh lines, conveyed a sense of resilience and experience. Laria was pragmatic, and focused on her duties, but also showed a more human side when interacting with others. She was attentive to her soldiers and adept in both military strategy and diplomacy, which she demonstrated during her interaction with Farid and his team.[1]
History[]
Laria participated in the Tomakul Campaign of 44 AR. During the trench war outside Tomakul, she found herself involved in a crucial exchange with enemy forces. She participated in a covert meeting with Farid and his team, facilitating trade between their factions. Despite the war raging around them, Laria displayed a measure of camaraderie and understanding, particularly when engaging in dialogue with Aiman, a veteran soldier from Farid's side. Laria's role in the conflict included strategic preparations for anticipated assaults. She was acutely aware of the movements and tactics of both her forces and the enemy, and in return for a warning from Farid about the army of transmogrants they would face in battle, Laria imparted knowledge of the impending attack and the use of clay statues on the Argivian side.[1]
Once the attack happened, the Fallaji found the Argivian trench abandoned. Karrak found a packet in the trench, and inside the packet, they discovered a note written in the Fallaji script and a piece of chocolate. The note read: "Our gratitude." This simple message was a testament to Laria's recognition of the small acts of kindness amidst the vast and brutal landscape of war, transcending the animosity of their respective factions.[1]
