The LatAm Magic Series is a series of high level sanctioned Magic: The Gathering events in Latin America to rival the Wizards of the Coast driven tournament scene. It was introduced by Bazar de Bagdá in 2019

Description[edit | edit source]

The LatAm Magic Series is integrated into the Players Tour and will offer invites to the Championship level and provide paths to the Rivals League and the MPL.[1]

The new series will also feed eight slots for each Players Tour, starting with the very first one that will happen in the first quarter of 2020.[2] The LatAm Series will have two finals, each one offering 4 slots - one modern and another standard. To feed the finals they will have standard and modern qualifiers each one feeding their own final. As a twist, they are also offering Pauper and Legacy qualifiers. These qualifiers will feed either Standard or Modern finals.
