The LatAm Magic Series was a series of high-level sanctioned Magic: The Gathering events in Latin America to rival the Wizards of the Coast driven tournament scene. It was introduced by Bazar de Bagdá in 2019.
Description[ | ]
The LatAm Magic Series was integrated into the Players Tour and offered invites to the Championship level and provided paths to the Rivals League and the MPL.[1]
The Series also fed eight slots for each Players Tour, starting in the first quarter of 2020.[2] The LatAm Series had two finals, each one offering 4 slots - one modern and another standard. To feed the finals they had standard and modern qualifiers each one feeding their final. As a twist, they are also offered Pauper and Legacy qualifiers. These qualifiers would feed either Standard or Modern finals.
