Leaf was an elf from Savaea.

History[]

Leaf was named Whisper when she was a child, Brookcharm as a mother, and Leaf as an Elder. Around 4180 AR, the elves of Savaea were disturbed by a series of single goblins from the Red Mountains entering their woods, each carrying a single rock glyph. When Leaf interrogated one of these goblins, a groveling male named Busjaw, it turned out that each of the goblins had been sent as messengers asking for help from the elves on behalf of their chieftess, Kruuna. Leaf agreed to travel to the goblin warrens to parlay with Kruuna. Krunna showed Leaf an Ivory Cup, which she had used to stay immortal but was no longer filled with white mana. Lead explained that the destruction of Oneah also caused the cup to no longer work, as that nation's spellcasters were gone. Leaf then offered to take the chief to Savaea and tried to teach her the wisdom of accepting the cycle of life and death. This failed horribly and the goblin clubbed Leaf's head, cracking her skull. The elves immediately shot Kruuna full of arrows, killing her on the spot. With her last words, Leaf told her elf friends what she had learned: Not all may know wisdom - goblins should not be filled with arrows without a thought. Goblins should be pitied. Then with arrows.[1]
