Lily Emberseed, commonly called Lily of Valley, was a legendary mousefolk from Bloomburrow.
Description[ | ]
Lily Emberseed, originally known as Lily of Valley, was a mousefolk champion of the Order of the Holly Leaf.[1] Lily was born in the tunnels beneath Valley during the War of Cinders.[2] She grew up a humble farmer, pruning the great mushrooms that dotted the tunnels of her birth. When her family was driven to the heart of Valley and she faced the Calamity Beast Wildsear, the Seed Flame, also called the Ember Seed, ignited in her soul.[3] The Seed Flame turned Lily into a radiant sun, giving her the power of nature like a Calamity Beast and earning her the moniker "Emberseed." For three days, the light burned and drove the predators back, weakening them as it spread across all of Valley. In the war's final battle, she fought Wildsear, chipping its tooth and sending the beast beyond the Brambles, outside Valley. Lily fashioned the Wildfire Wolf's tooth into the magical sword Cragflame. After the war, Lily left Valley to travel the Brambles, leaving her armor and sword to her descendants. Her descendant Mabel later wielded the blade to protect Valley from the Calamity Beasts.

- Lily is named after the flower lily of the valley. She is referred to by this name, including the "the," in Bloomburrow Episode 2: An Expected Party, likely erroneously, as the location in Bloomburrow is referred to simply as "Valley." In all other mentions, she is referred to without the "the."
