After half his clan was transported to Grixis, he was killed by Thraximundar.[4]

Kemuel, the Hidden One

Son of the sphinxes Crucius and Sharuum, who guards The Riddle Gate, a planar portal at the center of the Crystal Labyrinth in Esper's Glass Dunes. Known on Esper as the great sphinx of the desert maze.[14] He lost a wing and hind leg in a fight with a great Leviathan centuries before the Conflux, and the few travelers that meet him find his words and his advice to be prophetic.

A Goblin Deathraider and dracomancer on Jund.[15]

A diminutive, sky-blue homunculus from Esper. She has stubby etherium arms and legs, a nearly spherical body, and talks with a high-pitched squeak. A minion of Tezzeret.[5]

A canticle bearing his name that some attribute to him tells of the finding of the city, and must be recited to re-enter it. A massive gold and jade statue within the city is thought to depict him.[19]

Elnor

A former Riveteer who, together with her girlfriend Shadress, Yuma, and several others, left the Riveteers to start their own co-operative.[37] While initially successful, the corrupt nature of life on Cappena, a series of setbacks and a failed robbery on a Brokers-controlled train left the group poor and splintering. Shadress, suffering from depression at the loss of the group's ideals, passed away and Yuma abondoned the group with the last of its funds. Elnor tasked herself with tracking Yuma down and enlisted the aide of a fire-breathing snake demon. She found Yuma on Thunder Junction and the two battled each other through Yuma's bar while Elnor demaned the missing money. The fight ended when the burning bar was drenched by the plane's sudden rainstorms and Kirri created a new structure, and new life, using its cactus-like vine magic. Elnor agreed to let bygones be bygones and left with the snake demon to forge a new life of her own.

A Maestros art dealer specializing in modernist works. Seeking to make a name for himself in the family, he arranged a hit on Parnesse the day before her wedding. In response, he was killed by Anhelo the following day.[33]

Severo (jr.)

Son of Severo. Three years after his father's death on his birthday, he stole a suit and taxi and kidnapped Anhelo, hoping to kill the vampire and himself in revenge for his father's death. He was stabbed by Anhelo as the two crashed into a Riveteer transport, unsuccessful in his goal.[33]
Shadress

A tailor and former Riveteer who, together with her girlfriend Elnor, Yuma, and several others, left the Riveteers to start their own co-operative in New Capenna.[37] Shadress acted as an informal leader of the group, often providing motiviation in the form of similes and a level of morality for the group to follow. While initially successful, the group soon came up against the corrupt nature of life on Cappena and was forced to turn to crime to survive. A series of setbacks with the group's living situation led Shadress to suggest they buy a building but the loan required increasing their rate of theft. Bo

A teenage boy living in Saddlebrush with his sister Mira.[120] His father died seven years prior and his mother died a few months before he encountered Annie Flash. He volunteers to accompany Annie on her self-appointed misson to deal with the rattlewurm after his sister is poisoned by one.
Jody Carpenter

A widower living in Saddlebrush who has a one night stand with Annie Flash.[120] He emigrated to Thunder Junction after the love of his life died on their home plane. Jody is present in the town square when a rattlewurm poisons Mira and accompanies Bo to Annie's house when the two set off to find the wurm the next day.
Mira

A young girl around the age of nine who is poisoned by a rattlewurm that briefly invades Saddlebrush.[120] She is the younger sister of Bo.
Tommy

A member of the Atiin nomadic people and the nephew of Annie Flash.[120] He followed Annie to Thunder Junction and became involved in her activities as an outlaw. At some point Tommy and Annie crossed paths with the Dragon Akul and Tommy was poisoned leaving him in chronic pain. He stays with Annie in Saddlebrush, mostly bed-bound by a combination of the pain and the side effects of the pain relieving smoke that Annie procures. He organizes to return to their home plane with the help of Jody Carpenter and leaves Thunder Junction not long after Annie deals with the town's rattlewurm.
Mr. Towning

Owner of the general store in Saddlebrush.[119] Towning is an older gentleman with pepper-gray hair. He takes a share of Annie Flash's earnings on behalf of the town as payment for keeping her residency a secret.
