Ara Ara, renegade smuggler

Aradara

A mother-and-son team who perfected the aether-propelled train.[5]
Avaati Vya

An ingenious inventor. Developer of the process to refine volatile raw aether.[6] Avaati worked with Satya to create the Aetherflux Reservoir.[7] While Satya was an equal contributor to the reservoir's creation, he was ultimately indifferent toward fame or recognition and happy to let Avaati step into the limelight. Historians tend to overemphasize the role of Avaati as a result.
Baji

A former renegade contact of Pia Nalaar's who died during New Phyrexia's Invasion of the Multiverse, impaled by a Phyrexian bird's quill.[8]
Basani

A Consulate inspector encountered by Ajani Goldmane.[9]
Bes Tavani Bes Tavani, Bomat merchant

Bhavin Jani

A dwarven automaton designer abducted by Tezzeret, but later removed from the Inquirium after failing to meet Tezzeret's expectations.[10][2]
Bhejek

Veteran inventor-driver at the Ovalchase for the Grinders Society.[2]

Gan Gaheer

A renegade member of the Glint-Sleeves, a group that specialized in artificial bodily attachments. Creator of Ajani's artificial hands.[9]
Himmat Neela

An elven lifecrafter originally from the outskirts of Peema.[2] He is known for his magnificent creature constructs.[13] His design of a miniaturized young elk won the Animal Constructs: Miniatures Division at the Inventors' Fair, and was later put into mass production.
Ira Joshi

A famous human vehicle driver. She is the official pilot for the Consulate's Fleetwheel Cruiser.[13]

A great aetherborn inventor. They pioneered some of the first medical technology for non-organic beings when they were only two years old.[5]

Sana Ahir

A nineteen-year-old aerowright abducted by Tezzeret, but later removed from the Inquirium after failing to meet his expectations.[10][2] After she was released by the Renegades, she became a beneficiary of of Yahenni's will.[11]

A member of the Consulate Department of Security and Enforcement now working to rebuild trust with the population of Ghirapur.[2]
Shaila

An Elf who resisted the Consulate. Her descendants proudly occupy the greenway that she refused to relinquish.
Shanti Makam

A kinetic sculptor and participant in the Inventors’ Fair. They created a cat-sized sculpture of living metal that changed shape in response to the sounds around it, which was stolen from the Ghirapur Institute of Art and Science and ended up in Gonti's collection.[1]

Suja Pavani

A participant in the Inventors’ Fair.
Surash Surash, Keeper of the Cowl

Elven groundskeeper of the greenbelt called the Cowl. Believed to have orchestrated attacks on Consulate enforcers, sending the Cowl's giant spiders to the renegades.[3]

Vedalken member of the Aetherlogical Society. She is the inventor of the Perpetual Timepiece.[13]
