Llama is a creature type, used on cards that depict long-necked domesticated pack animals of the camel family, at home in mountainous terrain and valued for their soft woolly fleece.
History[]
The type first appeared in The Lost Caverns of Ixalan in association with the creature land Restless Prairie.
Trivia[]
- When the Comprehensive Rules update for The Lost Caverns of Ixalan was initially released the Llama type was was accidentally left out, making it an invalid choice for cards like Roaming Throne and Vanquisher's Banner.[1] The creature type was finally introduced with the Fallout update in March, 2024.
