Llora was a human soldier during the time of the Brothers' War, originally from the Suwwardi tribe of the Fallaji Empire but defected to Kroog to become one of its defenders against Mishra.
Description[]
Llora was a seasoned Suwwardi instructor with a stern and commanding presence. She was known for her toughness, described as "tough as new leather and harsh as the lime that cured it." Llora's physical appearance was strikingly thin and sharp, like a reed, and she had a no-nonsense demeanor that commanded respect. Her crisp and clean uniform reflected her disciplined nature, and she was strict with her cadets, expecting the highest standards of them.[2]
History[]
Llora played a role in the defenses during the Fall of Kroog. The city of Kroog suffered a devastating attack by Mishra's forces, spearheaded by the dragon engine Traxos. As the instructor of a group of avenger pilots, she led her cadets during a time of great crisis. On the day Kroog was attacked, Llora was responsible for briefing and organizing her trainees, transitioning them from students to active defenders of the city. She demonstrated her leadership by ensuring her cadets were prepared, pairing them with newly designed sword-pattern avengers, and directing their initial deployment. Sanwell, Rica and Carlo were three of these newly promoted pilots.[2]
During the chaos, Llora worked closely with Tawnos, Urza's chief apprentice, to coordinate the city's defenses. She maintained order among her cadets, keeping them focused amid the confusion and fear. Her leadership was evident as she instructed Sanwell and his fellow pilots to prepare for combat and later ordered them to flank the invading dragon engines in a desperate counterattack.[2]
Llora's courage and dedication to her duty led her to the front lines, where she perished in a fiery blast from the dragon engine. The last moments of her life were spent trying to protect the city she had sworn to defend, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her role as a protector and leader.[2]
