Limited rank seasonal rewards

Entry fee: 5,000 gold or 750 gems. Best-of-one matches; run ends after seven wins or three losses. Events alternate through previous Draft formats and the current format every fortnight. Match results affect Limited rank.

Deck construction and drafting times aren't limited, and players draft against robot opponents whose picks are influenced by MTGO data. After the Draft match window closes, players get rewards according to their win record.[1] Draft has its own ranking system.

  • No wins — 50 gems and one pack (20% chance of two instead)
  • One win — 100 gems and one pack (22% chance of two instead)
  • Two wins — 200 gems and one pack (24% chance of two instead)

April Fools 2019 Googly Eyes

April Fools 2019 Googly Eyes

The April Fools' Day prank for April 1, 2019 was adding googly eyes to all of the deckboxes in the Decks screen. The select/deselect animations caused the eyes to jiggle and gave the box a smile.

April Fools' Day for 2021 was a new format known as "New Historic", which removed the 4-card limit, dropped the minimum deck size to 40 cards, and had no ban list. The prize was 100 Experience on the first win.
