Several Magic stories have been retold in Manga style in Japanese comic

Magic - Urza & Mishra[edit | edit source]

Magic - Urza & Mishra was published by Gotta Comics in December 2000. It is a retelling in of the Brothers' War.[1][2]

The cover depicts Urza, Ashnod and Mishra.

The Purifying Fire[edit | edit source]

On February 27, 2010, the Japanese magazine Dengeki-Maoh published a manga-version of The Purifying Fire, drawn by Yoshino Himori.[3][4]

Ixalan block[edit | edit source]

In late 2017, Wizards of the Coast Japan published a retelling of the Ixalan story on the Magic Story page.[5] This was followed by a retelling of Rivals of Ixalan in early 2018.[6]

War of the Spark[edit | edit source]

The story of War of the Spark was also retold in Manga form. It was published by Wizards of the Coast Japan on July 16, 2019.[7]

Throne of Eldraine[edit | edit source]

The story of Throne of Eldraine, featuring Will and Rowan Kenrith, Oko and Garruk Wildspeaker, was published in Manga form on December 11, 2019.[8]

Destroy All Humankind. They Can’t Be Regenerated[edit | edit source]

An ongoing manga series by an independent publisher, themed around the game of Magic (2018-). Author: Ise Katsura, Artist: Yokota Takuma.[9]
