Several Magic stories have been retold in Japanese Manga style comics.

Magic - Urza & Mishra[ | ]

Magic - Urza & Mishra was published by Gotta Comics in December 2000. It is a retelling in of the Brothers' War.[1][2]

The cover depicts Urza, Ashnod and Mishra.

The Purifying Fire[ | ]

On February 27, 2010, the Japanese magazine Dengeki-Maoh published a manga-version of The Purifying Fire, drawn by Yoshino Himori.[3][4]

Starting with Ixalan block, Wizards of the Coast Japan published a retelling of Magic Story on the MtG-JP Magic Story page.[5] Theros Beyond Death, which did not receive a book or story articles, did not receive a manga. The manga for Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty was released in both Japanese and English.[6]

An ongoing manga series by an independent publisher, themed around the game of Magic (2018-). A couple of Japanese teenagers who play MTG around the year 2000. The main protagonist Sawatari plays white, her friend Yakumo plays black and the French girl Lou plays blue. Author: Ise Katsura, Artist: Yokota Takuma.[8]
