Maladola is an Orzhov angel on the plane of Ravnica.

Description[ | ]

Maladola is an angel and the chief warrior-executioner of the Orzhov Syndicate. She defected from the Boros Legion long ago and serves as part of the Triumvirate that holds power in the Orzhov after Kaya assassinated the Obzedat ghost council. Her appearance as an angel gives her a majestic and imposing presence, fitting her role as an executioner.

History[ | ]

Maladola initially showed a willingness to fight against Nicol Bolas and his Eternals during the War of the Spark, expressing a desire to join the battle. Kaya tried to rally the Orzhov to fight Nicol Bolas and his Eternals but faced resistance from the Triumvirate. Although Maladola showed some support for Kaya’s cause, she ultimately fell in line with the other Triumvirate members, offering only a token honor guard instead of real military support. Eventually, Maladola got her wish to fight when she joined the battle from the Boros airship Parhelion II, leading squadrons of angels and actively participating in the combat against Bolas' forces.
