Warlord Mandek Ironfist was a warlord of the Darkling Plains of Golthonor on Corondor. With the aid of Archmage Xarl, the Serra Angel Trine was summoned by the wizard Skule and Mandek was forced to sacrifice his nephew to Trine. He then ordered her to kill the Ganarians and Golthans. After Xarl became the Angel Keeper, Mandek began the Iron Kingdom.
