Multiverse Legends is a non-Standard set of cards associated with March of the Machine.[3][4]
Description[ | ]
Multiverse Legends is similar to the Masterpiece Series, but the cards appear more frequently in the boosters of the main set and have a more profound influence on the Limited environment.[4] This is comparable with the Mystical Archive of Strixhaven: School of Mages and the Retro Artifacts of The Brothers' War.
In this supplemental set, Wizards of the Coasts has reprinted 65 (20 uncommons, 30 rares, 15 mythic rares) of the most famous iconic characters in their home planes' Booster Fun treatment and with set code MUL.[5][6] Machine Draft and Set Boosters contain one Multiverse Legends card, and Collector Boosters have at least three. These are only legal in formats that they are already legal in. They are not part of the Standard environment. However, the cards may be used in Limited events. Those cards are part of your card pool in a Sealed Deck tournament. In a Booster Draft tournament, you must draft those cards for them to be included in your card pool.
Multiverse Legends can also appear in a new halo foil treatment (#131-195), in etched foil (#66-130) or as serialized cards.
There were a bunch of restrictions on what could be on the Multiverse Legends sheet. They had to be desired cards that were still alive and could be actively fighting in the war against the Phyrexians. According to Mark Rosewater, R&D didn’t have the luxury of removing cards because they’d used the card frame before. They gave them all new art to make them look distinct.[7]
Distribution[ | ]
You receive one copy — from its dedicated slot — in each Draft Booster and each Set Booster, and at least three in each Collector Booster. As Multiverse Legends cards are a bonus card in each Draft Booster and set booster, they don't replace another card of the same rarity in a pack.
MTG Arena[ | ]
The Multiverse Legends are available in March of the Machine drafts on Magic: The Gathering Arena and are legal in Historic.[5] Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer was preemptively banned from Historic five days before the set was released.[8]

2/1 Phyrexian Myr artifact creature for Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer.
3/1 Elemental creature with trample and haste for Valduk, Keeper of the Flame.
