Professional play[ | ]

His greatest accomplishment to date is a sixth-place finish at Pro Tour Kaladesh in 2016. He also has five Grand Prix wins in twelve total top eights; two of his wins were in Team Limited events, while the other three were Extended/Modern events. Well known for his preference for Combo decks, perhaps in particular Krark-Clan Ironworks, a card that got banned in Modern after Nass' repeated success with it. Nass is also a longtime member of Team ChannelFireball. In December 2018, it was announced that Nass would be one of the 32 players joining the upcoming 2019 Magic Pro League. A year later, he was relegated to the Rivals League. He won the 2020 season, but after the 2020-21 season he was relegated again, to challenger status.
