Matthew Severa is a Magic player from Madison, Wisconsin. He has finished in the top eight of nine Grand Prix events, including consecutive Team Limited wins at GP Washington, D.C. alongside teammates Justin Cohen and Mike Hron; and at GP Louisville, with Justin Cohen and Sam Black. He also won an individual event in Denver, marking his third Grand Prix win in 2016. He also won GP Washington, D.C. in 2017. After a combined 24–6 record in Constructed across the three individual Pro Tour events in the 2017–18 season, he earned the title as Constructed Master and an invitation to the 2018 World Championship.
