Milk counters are a type of counter introduced on a test card in Mystery Booster 2. They have no intrinsic effects by themselves.
Description[ | ]
Milk counters are tied to the Grazing type, where they enter the battlefield with five milk counters for each Forest and/or Plant you control.
History[ | ]
Milk counters were part of a Magic: The Gathering parody card game skit by comedian and voice actor SungWon Cho (ProZD). Milk counters are part of the intricately complex Dairy Farm Card Game resource system. The original sketch was a paid advertisement by Wizards of the Coast for Magic: The Gathering Arena.[1]
With the release of Mystery Booster 2, the original sketch was honored by Wizards of the Coast through the inclusion of Dairy Cow.
Trivia[ | ]
- One milk counter converts to three Dairy Dollars at the Grocery Store.[1]
