Modern Horizons 2 is a Magic booster set which will release on June 11, 2021.[3][4][5][6] Like the first Modern Horizons, this straight-to-Modern set will be print-to-demand.[3]

Set details[edit | edit source]

Like Modern Horizons, this set introduces new cards into Modern and other eternal formats without them ever being legal in Standard.[7] It is expected to bring a host of powerful new toolbox cards, strong themes to try out, and several throwbacks

This time around, Wizards of the Coast promised a higher power level and greater complexity with even more of what players loved in Modern Horizons. Modern Horizons 2 includes special frame treatments (that they're not ready to talk about just yet) and a full range of products for all players to enjoy, including Set Boosters and Collector Boosters. All five enemy colored fetch lands may appear at rare in regular Draft Boosters of the set.[3]

Marketing[edit | edit source]

Next to Draft Boosters, Modern Horizons 2 wil also be sold in Set Boosters and Collector Boosters.[5][7] This is the first supplemental set to get these products. The Set Boosters contain a guaranteed foil and an art card. The set will also feature a Modern Horizons 2 Bundle.
