Muster counters are a type of counter introduced in Gatecrash. They act as an upkeep tracker for creating soldier tokens.
Description[]
Muster counters first appeared on Assemble the Legion in Gatecrash. It is an enchantment that gains a Muster counter each upkeep. Then, a 1/1 red and white Soldier token is created for each Muster counter on it. This represents the soldiers being assembled for battle.
Trivia[]
- In Magic Online, the counter is colored green as its considered a positive effect and shares its icon with Palliation and Phylactery counters.[1]
- Muster means to assemble troops, especially for inspection or in preparation for battle.
