Nimiroti Wola is Zimone Wola's grandmother and a famous mage herself on Arcavios.

Description[ | ]

Nimiroti is an older woman with long graying dreadlocks of hair. Both Dean Imbraham and Codie note that Zimone looks just like her grandmother, suggesting that Nimiroti may have had similar facial features and overall appearance, with brown skin and a round face.

Nimiroti was an esteemed professor at Strixhaven, highly knowledgeable and skilled in her field. Dean Imbraham remembers her as the best student and even better colleague he had ever had. She was secretive with her gifts to Zimone, possibly to protect her granddaughter from unknown dangers. Nimiroti showed great bravery and self-sacrifice when she erased her memory to protect her secrets from the Oriq. Despite her struggles, Nimiroti continued to send Zimone birthday packages, maintaining a connection with her granddaughter. [1]

History[ | ]

Nimiroti was once a highly respected professor at Strixhaven. She left Strixhaven due to issues with her memory and potential danger, possibly related to the Vorzani Conjecture. For years, she sent Zimone packages on her birthday, each containing an increasing number of ribbons. She left Zimone notes that led her to further discoveries, including a note hidden in a book that guided Zimone to the Codex Vocifera, or Codie. Nimiroti intentionally erased her memory to keep the Vorzani Conjecture from the Oriq, showing her resistance to the group’s malevolent intentions. Eventually, Nimiroti was found in the Sanctuary of the Lost, a place for those affected by magic, indicating she was deeply affected by her experiences and the burden of her knowledge.[1]
