Patience had a nurturing demeanor, as shown by her inclination to stay near Arlinn and provide comfort. Patience waited outside the cathedral doors for Arlinn every day, earning her name through her patience and loyalty. During the encounter with a stag, Patience raced Redtooth for the third position and sometimes even pulled ahead. When the wolves were urged to stay put, Patience brought Arlinn's leather pack to her as she shifted back to human form. As the tension with Tovolar escalated, Patience pressed herself against Arlinn's leg and looked up at her expectantly, seeking to understand and support her. In the end, Patience rejoined Arlinn in Thraben Cathedral, helping to her feet and staying close, even as Arlinn faced Tovolar and the challenges that lay ahead.
