Pearl-Ear was a kitsune diplomat, and a long-time ambassador at daimyo Konda's court in Eiganjo.[1]

Pearl-Ear was a sister of kitsune ranger Sharp-Ear. She and her brother had six brothers and nine sisters.[2]
She was also a friend of Yoshino, the mother of princess Michiko Konda, and the princess's tutor. For Michiko, she was like a mother.
